Galeras is a 4270-m-high active stratovolcano located in the southwest part of Colombia at 01° 13.73’ N and 77° 21.55’ W.
Galeras has an active crater with eight fumaroles with temperatures from 85°C up to 400°C. In the edifice of Galeras volcanoes there are six thermal springs with: (1) acid sulfate and (2) bicarbonate waters. |
